In my January update, I talked about how God has been telling me to prepare for launching. Well, this month that has become a lot clearer. When I left the ships in November, I was feeling that my time serving with the Pacific Hope Global ships had come to an end. That has been confirmed. I sadly will not be returning to those ships, but I am very excited about what God is leading me into next. This month the door has opened for me to help two different new ship ministries as they pioneer. Both ships are planning on starting their first outreach season this year.
The first ministry is a YWAM Ship, M/V (motor vessel) Amazing Grace, serving out of Mazatlan, Mexico through YWAM Mazatlan. They are planning on doing their first outreach season in villages and towns around the Sea of Cortez, in Mexico. I am planning on leaving the second half of March to join them at least through the summer to help them as they get things in order and run their first outreaches this spring and summer. I am really excited to be able to use what I have learned over the last 3+ years to help them get started.
The second YWAM Ship that is interested in having me come and help is working in the Pacific. Things are a little more complicated getting to them right now with the closed borders because of Covid. I am hoping by next fall some situations will have changed and I can get down to them. But this delay in getting to them has allowed me to help the ship in Mexico in the meantime. God’s timing is always perfect. Stay tuned to future updates to hear more about this ship and when I might go and serve with them.
Some Prayer Requests
Travel - Please pray for safety as I travel to Mexico in March. I need the borders to stay open and travel regulations to be doable.
Health - Please pray God's protection over me in this next season as I am traveling and coming in contact with a new batch of people.
Support - I will be working on raising my support levels up a bit to cover higher costs of living on board the new ships as well as travel expenses. I do not get paid, so all of my expenses need to be covered by sponsors who partner with me monthly. (See below, if you would like more details on partnering with me.)
Wisdom – I need God's wisdom as I go to help pioneer with these new ships. I want to be led by God in everything I do with them.
